A way to transform an old tattoo into something new.
Maybe your tattoo didn't turn out the way you pictured it, or maybe it's faded and lost its impact over the years. You might not connect with it anymore, or you might still love the idea but want to give it new life. Either way, you have options. We can cover it with a completely new design, or we can revamp what's already there by adding color, detail, size, or script.
For cover-ups, we design a new tattoo that goes over the old one, using darker inks and strategic placement to hide what's underneath. The new design will always be larger than the original to make sure everything gets covered. In some cases, we might recommend a session or two of laser removal first to lighten the old tattoo and give us more flexibility with the new design.
For revamps, we work with what you already have and bring it back to life. This could mean refreshing faded color, enlarging the design, adding shading or details, or incorporating script. It's for people who still like their tattoo but want it to look cleaner, bolder, or more current.
How it works:
Click "Book My Consultation" below to schedule this free consultation, available in-person or virtually. We'll look at your tattoo, talk through what's possible, and once you're ready to move forward, we'll book your first session.
The number of sessions depends on the size and complexity of the work. Cover-ups are typically done over one or more sessions depending on how large the piece is. Revamps can be a single session or multiple depending on the complexity. Your tattoo will heal the same way any new tattoo does, following standard aftercare for the next few weeks.
Includes: Free consultation (in-person or virtual), custom design, tattoo session(s), and full aftercare instructions.

In most cases, yes. We handle these as revamps, add-ons, or cover-ups depending on the tattoo’s age, saturation, scarring, style, and placement. Many effective cover-ups need to be a bit larger or use denser/darker design to hide existing lines, and in some cases laser lightening first gives you far more design options and a cleaner result.
What we won’t do is copy another artist’s custom design line for line, or promise to match another artist’s exact style. Outcomes vary by artist and by the condition of the existing tattoo. Our focus is on giving you the strongest result, and we’ll be upfront about what’s possible and what will heal best.
Yes. A deposit is required to book any tattoo appointment. This secures your spot in the schedule and covers the time your artist sets aside for your session.
For custom tattoos, your artist will begin preparing your design once your deposit has been received. The deposit amount is based on the length or scale of your booking and is applied toward your final total on the day of your appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice or do not show up for your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to bring in your own design or reference images. Your artist may refine or adjust certain elements to ensure it translates well on skin and holds up over time. They’ll work with you to keep the original idea while making sure the final design looks its best as a tattoo.
All of our artists work at an hourly rate to ensure fair pricing based on the time and detail involved in your piece. From time to time, individual artists may offer day rates or special promotions for specific projects or events.
When available, these offers will be listed on our website and social media pages, as well as on the individual artist’s profiles.
Some people like to talk things through before booking. If that's you, drop us a message or call the studio. We're here to help.
